Norman E. Hjorth Library
The mission of the Trinity Church Library is to maintain a collection of carefully selected literature and resources for the spiritual growth, religious education, and enjoyment of members, staff, and friends of Trinity Church.
The library, located across the hall from the Hospitality Room, includes more than 3,500 resources for adults and children. As a church-sponsored library, materials are available that may not be found at secular or public schools and libraries. Bible study and Christian living are some of the subjects carefully selected to augment our collection, as well as religion and contemporary social, political, and moral issues.
Of course, if you just want to relax with a good story, the library has those too, for all ages!
Resources may be borrowed any time that the building is open. All books, videos, and resources are listed in the Card Catalog. The library uses the Dewey Decimal System, just as schools and public libraries use.
To borrow a resource from the Trinity Church Library:
A committee of volunteers is responsible for the maintenance of the library, from selection to shelving. A committee member is available to answer questions and check out resources on Sundays after the worship service. Library volunteers are always welcome!
Donations to the library are accepted with the proviso that the Library Committee may use the gifts in any appropriate manner. You may donate a new book in memory or in honor of someone. Donations may be left at the library desk. Be sure to leave your name and address. All gifts will be acknowledged.
